Red Renfest Dress

This Dress was designed and Created by myself for the Texas Renaissance Festival in 2010. The dress is fully serged and was made to fit perfectly to give a corset effect.
The Red is drapery/upholstery fabric that I picked up for a 5 bucks a yard from a nice lady off craigslist. The cream fabric is regular cotton twill and the gold ribbon was bought from wal-mart. I simply cut out the shapes to my size and sewed them together as I have absolutely no clue how to go about using those fancy pattern packages they have at sewing stores.
